World Open 2013: ITV4 Sendetermine

Die Haikou World Open (25.02. - 03.03.2013) werden in diesem Jahr auch vom britischen TV-Sender ITV4 ausgestrahlt. Der Sender ist die ganze Woche lang jeden Morgen ab 07:10 MEZ LIVE auf Sendung und zeigt nonstop Bilder vom Geschehen auf Hainan. Den Kommentar übernehmen Clive Everton und Neal Foulds. Am Samstag, 02. März zeigt ITV4 im Anschluss an die Live-Übertagung um 16:00 MEZ außerdem eine Dokumentation über Ronnie O'Sullivan. Der Sender ist für UK-User FREI im Internet verfügbar. In the afternoon, Mark Davis and Robert Milkins clash in the first round, while the wildcard matches are Simon Bedford v Lu Haotian, David Gilbert v Lu Ning and Ian Burns v Saleh Muhammad."

The morning will include two wildcard matches - Jamie Cope v Wang Yuchen and Andrew Higginson v Zhao Xintong - as well as Mark Allen v Ryan Day and Shaun Murphy v Martin Gould in the first round. In the afternoon there are four first-round contests, which are Neil Robertson v Dominic Dale, plus Judd Trump, Matthew Stevens and Graeme Dott against three of the respective qualifiers."

There are eight first-round matches scheduled to take place in total, beginning in the morning with Ding Junhui v Michael Holt, plus Mark Selby, Ali Carter and Barry Hawkins' contests against respective qualifiers. In the afternoon, Mark Williams will face Marco Fu and Stephen Maguire is up against Marcus Campbell, while John Higgins and Stuart Bingham will meet two of the players to have come through the wildcard round."

Just eight players remain in the battle to succeed Mark Allen as champion, and today will see all four of the quarter-final matches take place over the best of nine frames, with two in the morning and two in the afternoon. Three of last year's contests in the last-eight were relatively straightforward affairs, with Allen, Stephen Lee and Mark Selby all winning comfortably over Mark King, Graeme Dott and Shaun Murphy respectively, but the other clash saw unseeded Robert Milkins claim an unexpected 5-3 triumph over top-ranked John Higgins."
